Questions About Your Visit
Everything you need to know about exploring the Cliffs of Moher and Burren with us
We offer routes ranging from gentle 2-mile coastal strolls to more challenging 5-mile walks with elevation gain. Most of our guests are aged 60+, and we pace everything to match your group—we're never racing. Our guides know where the best rest spots are and build plenty of stops into every route.
Late spring (May–June) is magical—wildflowers blanket the limestone and the weather's mild. September and October bring lower crowds and golden light, perfect for photography. We run year-round, but avoid January and February if you prefer gentler conditions.
We can arrange pickups from most hotels and guesthouses in County Clare. Let us know where you're staying when you book, and we'll sort the details. If you're self-driving, we'll send parking information ahead.
The Irish coast changes fast. We monitor forecasts and can shorten routes or adjust paths on the day. Heavy rain or wind above 40 mph means we'll reschedule—your safety matters more than sticking to a plan. Most days we work with it: a bit of drizzle is part of the charm.
Some sections of the Cliffs path are paved and wheelchair-friendly, while others are uneven terrain. The Burren has mixed accessibility depending on the route. Contact us before booking and we'll describe exactly what to expect and find the best option for your needs.
Our groups stay small—usually 6 to 12 people maximum. This keeps things personal and means your guide can chat with everyone, point out details you'd miss in a big tour, and adjust pace as needed.
